What Airport Do I Fly Into?
- Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport - Cusco, Peru (CUZ) via Jorge Chavez International Airport - Lima, Peru (LIM).
- PRO TIP: Fly into Lima one day early, find accommodations to stay the night, and give yourself additional time to adjust to the altitude of Peru
When is Check-In & Check-Out?
- Check-in is November 4th, 2024. We ask everyone to fly in the morning of November 4th.
- We will pick you up from Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport based on your provided flight time.
- Check-out is November 13th, 2024. We provide transportation back to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport.
What Should I Bring?
• No need to worry. Upon reserving your spot you will receive a detailed packing list to help you prepare for this amazing experience.
What's The Weather Going To Be Like?
• In November, Cusco experiences varying temperatures of 64°F to 73°F during the day to 46°F to 54°F at night. You will receive a detailed packing list guiding you on how to dress appropriately for the varied climate throughout your journey.
How Does Double Occupancy Work?
- If you request double occupancy there will be 2 people per room.
- You can request your roommate, otherwise you will be matched up based on your initial onboarding questionnaire.
- Only single occupancy will you ever be by yourself.
Do I Have To Stay At The Starlodge?
- No, if you choose not to join us for the view and adventure of a lifetime, we understand. You can remain at Aranwa for the night, meeting up with the group the following morning.
- To reach the pods that are suspended to the mountainside at 1,300 ft above sea level,, you have to climb a via ferrata (Italian for “iron road”). This is a series of iron rungs drilled into the side of the mountain. You are clipped into a cable the whole time for safety.
- Each pod sleeps 4. If you’d prefer a pod of your own, accommodations can be made at an additional cost.
When Must The Balance Be Paid?
If you choose the deposit payment option, the remainder of the balance for your retreat package will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on September 30th, 2024. You will be sent reminders closer to that time.
Do You Offer Payment Plans?
Yes, we offer a Shop Pay partial payment plan only with our full payment option. You can benefit from multiple partial payments that fall under a quarterly or monthly payment plan. You can view plans in further detail below.
How Many Months Of Validity Does My Passport Need?
- 6 months. If your passport expiration date is sooner than 6 months from your date of arrival to Peru, you will not be admitted.
