This past April, we hosted a truly unique and transformative event—the Pink Moon Ceremony and Despacho.

At Mestana Collective, we honored this lunar phase by coming together in community, guided by the wisdom and rituals of the Peruvian Shamans from the Q'eros Tribe.

Our Pink Moon Ceremony brought together a diverse group of spiritual seekers, all eager to connect with themselves and each other. The evening began with a warm welcome from Nat Brown, the founder of Mestana Collective, who shared the significance of the Pink Moon and the importance of setting intentions during this time.

We started our ceremony with a period of reflection. As a group, we took time to look back on the previous month, acknowledging our experiences, challenges, and triumphs. One of the highlights of the evening was the Despacho ceremony, an ancient Andean tradition led by the Peruvian Shamans of the Q'eros Tribe. To ensure complete guidance and authenticity, our Shamans joined us via Zoom, allowing us to experience their wisdom and rituals directly from Peru. A Despacho is a ceremonial offering, crafted with natural elements such as flowers, leaves, seeds, and sweets. Each item in the Despacho represents a prayer or intention, and the act of creating it is a meditative and sacred process. Our Shamans guided us through each step, explaining the meanings and significance behind each element.
Participants found the Despacho ceremony to be a profound and moving experience. The careful selection and placement of each item in the offering allowed everyone to express their hopes, dreams, and prayers in a tangible and beautiful way.
Sending Messages to the Spirit World
Once our Despacho was complete, we came together to send our messages, blessings, and intentions to the spirit world.
